The best, most seasoned event professionals will realise this and, as soon as their event date is in the calendar, with a rough idea of how many people will be attending, they will be booking stock for their chair hire and table hire requirements. It’s worth noting that for big events, it’s always a lot easier to tweak numbers nearer the time – up or down – rather than leave everything until the last minute. The later you leave it, the more chance you have of being disappointed, either due to the fact of lack of stock and/or a lack of transport to be able to deliver you the equipment. Failing that, ask around your network on LinkedIn, for instance, or even ask the venue where you are holding your event if they have a preferred supplier list.
